Needs to be more ways to get the things needed that doesn't take forever. Definitely a pay to play game, otherwise you are stuck for ages trying to build up items for hero equipment etc. Love this game, however in order to advance heroes and in battles, you must pay and the prices are insane.
It just might take an update or two to get there. The developers will make mistakes and throw game play out of balance on occasion, but they do try to set things right. If you are the patient type, F2P is an option, but my personal experience is that purchases help tremendously. New content/heros are added regularly, and gameplay/artwork is pretty good.
